Rest & Restore with Yoga

Class Description: Rest and Restore with Yoga (May 20th at 7 pm ET)
In this practice, a unique combination of gentle movements is used to support kinesthetic awareness to feel interoception (the state of your body on the inside) and proprioception (a sense of where your body is in space). We will begin with slow, gentle, and rhythmic movements in a supine position on the mat to support the conditioning of the joints and muscles. We will move to a few standing postures to support strength and return to the mat for closing restorative posture. This class will integrate pranayama (breathing practices) and guided meditation to help elicit the relaxation response and ease you into the rest of your day.

Time: Monday, May 20th, 7-8:15 pm

Location: The class is taught online via Zoom (Once you register, you will receive a Zoom link)
Cost: $40
What you will need:  chair, yoga mat, two yoga blocks, yoga bolster / or body pillow, blanket, strap/belt, computer or tablet with a high-speed internet connection
